Mills River Fire Rescue, Inc is a
non-profit corporation serving the Town of Mills River and
surrounding unincorporated area of North West Henderson County, NC.
Our boundaries cover from the Transylvania County line to the
Buncombe County line mainly west of the French Broad River along
Highway 280 (Boylston Hwy) and west into thje Pisgah National
Forest. We serve approximately 6,500 citizens and many
visitors.
Mills River Fire Rescue, Inc is a combination Paid and Volunteer
Fire Department. We have 2 full-time paid Firefighters/EMT's
and 8 Part Time Firefighters/EMT's. We have approximately 50
volunteer Firefighters. |
